If I could rate my experience as zero stars then I would. I'm sure I just had a bad experience but it's worth noting so that "sellers beware". I had Justin Heminger as my real estate agent to sell my home. The initial walk through we did was fine and everything seemed okay. Then, when it was really time to get serious and post my house up, which we agreed upon to do Jan 1, 2018, it was like I had to badger him to get an answer. My house was never even listed on the 1st. It wasn't listed until the evening of the 2nd and only because I had to badger him. There were multiple mistakes in the posting. I never even saw him again after the initial walk through. This was far from a personable experience that I would expect when making the biggest transaction of my life. It was constant issues with communication, or lack thereof. It got so bad to where I had to contact Wes Madden himself. After contacting him, I got an immediate call from Justin. We had agreed upon a biweekly check in (Mon and Wed) to discuss progress. That never happened. Needless to say, I fired him and the Wes Madden team. Completely ridiculous service, no attention to detail, no sense of caring whatsoever, and just unprofessional in my opinion. I would never tell anyone to go with them again after my experience. I even had other real estate agents, not even in this town, blown away by my experience. Very sad.

We bought our house sight to scene and it was the best experience. There was never a moment our questions were not answered. Our realtor, Greg Baldwin and his assistant Randi, gave us the best possible options to finance our home, insure our home and be in the best area where we wanted to be. We got a beautiful, modern, new construction home with several Facetimes and pictures to satisfy us on the other end of the country in Louisiana. I wouldn't go through another realtor for any other home needs in this area. Greg negotiated an amazing contract for us with the builder. With us being first time home buyers, we definitely needed to be educated on the home buying process in Alaska and I'm happy and proud to say, we understood every step of the way thanks to Greg and his wonderful team at Wes Madden Real Estate.
