News Home Fairbanks, Alaska (KINY) - Fairbanks Police Department (FPD) and Fairbanks Emergency Communication Center (FECC) announced the launch of a new community engagement tool, PowerEngage. Starting this month, many residents in Fairbanks that have had recent interactions with FPD and FECC will have the option to use this new community engagement and feedback solution. This new service uses text messaging to contact some citizens that have recently reported or been involved in non-life-threatening incidents.
